Commissions
We are always pleased to work closely with clients who are looking to have a customised piece of bespoke, original artwork created for them, tailored to meet their specific needs and requirements. We offer a friendly and professional service where we can help you visualise and realise a special and unique composition for your home or business.
Although we are unable to exactly reproduce any previous pieces (due to the fact only original paintings are sold - not prints/digital copies), we are however more than happy to use a particular piece as a starting point for any commission and will closely match the style, colours and dimensions as required. Using specialist software, we can also provide mocked up images of how any piece of artwork would look on any given wall or space, so the client can get a real grasp of how a piece will look in the exact location it is being commissioned for.
Whether you already have a specific idea in mind or literally want to start from a blank canvas, we will be happy to work through the whole commission process with you, of which, a very basic overview is outlined below:
Initial Information – Upon initial enquiry we will ask the client to complete a Commissions Request Form, where requirements relating to size, style, colour and anything else of relevance are requested in order for us to get a good idea as to what exactly the client is looking for.
Pricing – Based on the initial information received, we will determine a price for the commission work and give an estimated completion schedule. Once agreed, a Contract and Schedule of Works will be provided.
Contract – We provide a legal contract designed to protect both the client and Artist which covers all aspects of the commission process and subsequent financial agreement between the concerned parties.
Design (1st Draft) – Preliminary digital designs will be provided and the client asked to review and provide feedback/offer any suggestions regarding design progression.
In Situ Reconstruction – We have the software available to create a mocked up visualisation of how any painting may look on your wall, so the client can really see how the artwork would actually look hanging on their wall or space in question.
Design (Final Proof) – A final digital version of the composition will be provided and, again, the client will be asked to provide feedback prior to work starting on the artwork.
Creation Progress – Progress will be shared with the client via photos/video or in person where possible (this will be the final chance for the client to provide any additional feedback/suggestions).
Completed Artwork - Final photos/video of the completed artwork will be shared with the client prior to final payment and delivery.
Where Commission pieces are concerned, we take great pride in providing the client with a completed piece of artwork that they are 100% happy with and will go above and beyond to ensure it meets all the requirements outlined throughout the design process.
Upon request, a video diary detailing the entire creation process can also be produced. An amazing and special keepsake that provides a real insight and backstory as to how your commissioned piece of art came to be!
